Cuba seeks Azeri involvement in oil output
Cuba's government has offered to Azerbaijan to take part in oil
production in the country.
Cuban Foreign Investment Minister Marta Lomas said while hosting
Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev that
her country produced 4 million tons of oil every year. She said
Azerbaijan could be involved in the development of new oil fields
in Cuba.
The first meeting of the Azeri-Cuban intergovernmental commission
was held during Babayev's visit last week.
