SOCAR opens representation in Belgium
Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR has opened a representative office in Brussels, the company said on Wednesday.
The opening ceremony was attended by the SOCAR leadership led by the company's President Rovnag Abdullayev.
At present, SOCAR has representative offices in Georgia, Turkey and several countries of Europe, Asia, etc.
SOCAR is the only producer of oil products in the country and also owns petrol stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia and the Ukraine. Last year SOCAR purchase network of gas filling stations in Switzerland. SOCAR is co-owner of the largest Turkish petrochemical complex Petkim. The company carries out oil trade in various regions of the world through SOCAR Trading.
