Another vice president to leave BP Azerbaijan
Another vice president of BP Azerbaijan will leave his post due to a transfer to the company's Houston office, it was announced this week.
Spokesperson Tamam Bayatli confirmed this information, saying that it was a replacement which had long been planned.
The company did not specify the name of the BP Azerbaijan official, saying it was the vice president for drilling. He will now serve as vice president of BP Global Well Institute.
According to the website of the company, the post of Vice President for Drilling is held by Gary Christman.
A new vice president has already been appointed and will take office on November 19.
This follows another replacement in the administration of BP Azerbaijan. The company's vice-president on export pipeline operations, Kemp Copeland, retired last week.
According to the company, any staff changes are thoroughly planned long beforehand, and the latest replacements are not an exception.
