BP assessing environment in the Caspian
BAKU – BP Azerbaijan, the top foreign investor in the country’s oil and gas sector, is conducting an environmental monitoring in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.
The monitoring, to last till August 26, aims to evaluate the environment at the energy fields being operated and study biological resources in the energy-rich basin.
Employees of Azerbaijan’s state energy firm SOCAR are involved in the monitoring as well, SOCAR said.
