Weather forecast in July: Enjoy seaside holiday!

If you want to enjoy a summer holiday that will give you plenty of sunshine and warm weather, July is a great time to visit Azerbaijan.

July is in the heart of the ‘hot’ season and the climate in Azerbaijan is ideal for tourists, so countless of visitors come to Baku and country’s regions during July for warm weather and beautiful nature, especially to enjoy the seaside.

Sea temperature is quite accommodating during this month, with average sea temperature levels staying around 24 degrees.The most popular beaches of Azerbaijan are located in Mardakan, Shuvalan, Novkhani, Buzovna, Zagulba, Pirshagi, Nardaran, Turkan and Hovsan villages of the Absheron peninsula.

During this month, temperatures virtually mirror June’s figures, with daytime average temperature staying at 28-32 degrees.

Baku is also often prone to heat waves in July and August, so make sure to stay in the shade and keep topped up with plenty of water, as excessive heat can cause dehydration and exhaustion.

The average monthly temperature in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is predicted be +26-28˚C, which is close to the climatic norm, the National Department for Hydrometeorology at the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported. At nights temperature will be +21-26˚C at night. In the afternoons of the first half of the month the temperature will be + 30-35˚C but in several days will rise up +37-39˚C.

Average monthly precipitation will be close to the climatic norm (2-3 mm) and a little below the norm in some places.

In Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, average monthly temperature is predicted to be +25-29˚C which is close to the climatic norm and above the norm. At nights temperature will be +20-25˚C.

In the afternoons the temperature will be +31-36˚C but will rise up to +39-41˚C in the several days. Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 6-16 mm).

The average monthly temperature in upper Karabakh: Khankandi, Shusha, Khojali, Khocavand ; Gubadli, Zangilan, Lachin, Kalbajar and Dashkasan, Gadabay region is predicted to be +18-23˚C which is nigh to the climatic norm.

At nights the temperature will be +17-22˚C, while in the afternoons temperature will be +23-28˚C, and will be+30-33˚C in some days.

Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 36-73 mm) and a little above the norm in some places.

In Gazakh-Ganja, Goranboy, Tar-Tar-Agdam-Agjabadi-Fuzuli-Jabrail regions, average monthly temperature is predicted to be 25-27˚C which is close to the climatic norm.

At nights the temperature will be +22-27˚C. In the afternoons the temperature will be +31-36˚C, will be+39˚C in some days in the second and third decade.

Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 10-32 mm) and a little above the norm in some places.

As for Balakan, Zagatala, Qakh, Sheki, Oguz, Gabala, İsmailly, Agsu, Shamakhy, Siyazan, Shabran, Khizi, Guba, Khachmaz, Gusar regions, average monthly temperature is predicted to be +23-25˚C which is close to the climatic norm.

At nights the temperature will be +20-25˚C. In the afternoons temperature will be from +27-32˚C, will be+34-38˚C in some days.

Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 9-118 mm) and a little above the norm in some places.

Average monthly temperature in Central-Aran : Agdash, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, İmishli, Beylagan, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Saatli, Shirvan, Hajıgabul, Salyan, Neftchala regions is predicted to be +26-29˚C which is close to the climatic norm.

At nights the temperature will be +23-28˚C. In the afternoons the temperature will be from +30-35˚C, will be +38-41˚C in some days in the second and third decade.

Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 3-22 mm) and a little above the norm in some places.

Finally, the average monthly temperature in Masallı-Lankaran-Astara-Lerik, Yardimli regions, is predicted to +23-27˚C which is close to the climatic norm.

At nights the temperature will be +22-26˚C. In the afternoons the temperature will be from +28-33˚C, will rise up to +35-38˚C in some days in the second and third decade.

Monthly rainfall is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 7-33mm).
