First liver transplant operation in Azerbaijan
For the first time, a liver transplant operation has
been performed at Azerbaijan`s Central Clinical Hospital in the
Caucasus and Central Asia.
The surgery was carried out by a team of local and foreign doctors led by transplant surgeon Mirjalal Kazimi, who has worked in well-known Turkish clinics for many years. The condition of the patient is reported to be satisfactory.
