Flamboyant Russian politician due on visit
Russia`s well-known politician and chairman of the
Liberal-Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovskiy, will visit Baku,
the chairman of the Azerbaijan Liberal-Democratic Party, Fuad
Aliyev, has said. He added that this would be an official
visit.
Aliyev noted that Zhirinovskiy would attend the anniversary celebrations of the Azerbaijan Liberal-Democratic Party scheduled for January 30, 2009. The event will gather liberal democrats from Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus, Britain and Israel.
During the visit, he will also travel to several Azerbaijani districts.
