Azerbaijan Airlines does not plan to cancel any flights to Paris in the near future, spokesman for the state airline Pasha Kesamanski told the local media.

“Recently, AZAL successfully conducted a flight to Paris, and the aircraft has returned to Baku,” he said.

AZAL performs flights on the Baku-Paris-Baku route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, on an Airbus A320.

Gunmen and bombers attacked restaurants, a concert hall, and a sports stadium at different locations across Paris on November 13, killing at least 132 people in a deadly rampage that President Hollande called an unprecedented terrorist attack.

Four gunmen systematically slaughtered at least 87 young people attending a rock concert at the Bataclan music hall. Some 40 more people were killed in five other attacks in the Paris region, including an apparent double suicide bombing outside the national stadium, where President Hollande and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier were watching a friendly international soccer match. Some 200 people were injured.

President Holande ordered a state of emergency in Paris and closed the country's borders immediately after the violence broke out. However, some flights, ferries, and trains are running as normal, but security has been stepped up.

Major tourist attractions in the city, including the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Disneyland Paris, and many museums, have closed.

In connection with the series of terrorist attacks, a number of airlines have canceled flights to the French capital. American Airlines has suspended evening and night flights to France until further notice. Turkish Airlines has also suspended flights until November 21.

However, many major airlines, such as Aeroflot, Air France, and United Airlines, have decided not to cancel flights to Paris.
