The Strategic Annual Planning Workshop together with the staff of SOS Children’s Villages Azerbaijan and representatives of SOS Children’s Villages International took place in Boulevard Hotel Baku on September 17-18.

During the meeting, the annual strategy activities of organization were discussed and key performance indicators for the year 2016 were identified.

Being a very important event for organization, it was held in the largest hotel in Caucasus, Boulevard Hotel Baku.

The event was fully funded by the Hotel with the participation of 16 persons during 2 days. During the meeting, the hotel staff showed their professional attitude to the meeting participants. Provided support is the donation of Boulevard Hotel Baku to „SOS Children’s Villages-Azerbaijan“Association PU. With this support Boulevard Hotel Baku demonstrated not only being the most quality hotel but also unindifference to the children development. The management of Boulevard Hotel Baku provided a helpful hand for every child and noted that they will support such kind of activities in the future as well.

"SOS Children’s Villages Azerbaijan" Association is a member of SOS Kinderdorf International which was founded in 1949 in Imst, Austria by Herman Gmainer. SOS Kinderdorf International provides children deprived of parental care with home and family environment irrespective of their race, nationality and religion and prepare them for independent life.

SOS Kinderdorf International is active in 134 countries and works in close cooperation with UNESCO, also is included in UN economic and social council list. In 1999, in the eve of 50th anniversary SOS Kinderdorf İnternational was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize. In 2002 SOS Kinderdorf İnternational was awarded Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize, the world's largest humanitarian award which is presented to an organization making extraordinary contributions toward alleviating human suffering.
