Azerbaijan, Trinidad and Tobago ties mulled
Azerbaijan`s Brazil-based Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago Elnur Sultanov has presented his credentials to the country`s president Anthony Carmona.
The ambassador greeted President Carmona on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
He said there was great potential for developing relations between Azerbaijan and Trinidad and Tobago, particularly in the fields of energy, culture and education.
President Carmona asked Sultanov to communicate his greetings to the President Aliyev.
He said Trinidad and Tobago attaches great importance to its relationship with Azerbaijan.
Sultanov`s visit to Trinidad and Tobago also saw him have meetings with officials of the Foreign Ministry, AzerTac state news agency reported
