Azerbaijani Defence Minister visits Lithuania
Azerbaijani Minister of Defence, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov has paid an official visit to Lithuania. Mr. Hasanov has met his Lithuanian counterpart Juozas Olekas.
They discussed issues on regional security, development of Armed Forces, boosting prospects for military cooperation between the two countries.
The Azerbaijan`s Minister also provided an insight into military-political situation in Southern Caucasus region, as well as Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan, current state of refugees and IDPs.
He also expressed worries that some organizations show double standards in solving the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Mr. Hasanov Azerbaijan possesses strong army under the support of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. "Azerbaijani army is ready to liberate the country`s lands. There is no doubt to that". He added.
