Azerbaijan, Ethiopia mull relations
Azerbaijan and Ethiopia have explored ways of developing
interparliamentary relations as Azerbaijan`s ambassador Elman
Abdullayev has met chairman of the country`s parliament Abadula
Gemeda.
Gemeda said Ethiopia was interested in developing
interparliamentary ties with Azerbaijan, and expressed readiness
for establishment of friendship groups and organization of
reciprocal visits.
Abdullayev, in turn, highlighted great economic achievements of
Azerbaijan, and the country`s increasing influence in international
arena. He also briefed the speaker on the first European Games to
be held in Baku.
The sides hailed relations between the two countries.
Gemeda recalled his Azerbaijan trip in 2013, and noted that he was
deeply impressed with the country`s all-round development.
The speaker also invited Azerbaijani businessmen to invest in
Ethiopia, AzerTac state news agency reported.
