Azerbaijan,Ethiopia keen on boosting ties
Azerbaijan and Ethiopia mulled bilateral ties as Azerbaijani Ambassador to the country Elman Abdullayev has presented his credentials to President of Ethiopia Mulatu Teshome.
Abdullayev conveyed greetings and wishes by President Ilham Aliyev to President Teshome.
He said Azerbaijan was interested in developing relations, as well as boosting cooperation with Ethiopia as one of the important countries of African continent, in economic, humanitarian, cultural and educational field.
Abdullayev said there was great potential for improving relations between the two countries into new level.
President Teshome, in turn, asked to deliver his greetings to President Aliyev.
The president said his country attached great importance to developing relations with Azerbaijan, adding the country`s steadily development had deep impress on him.
They discussed cooperation opportunities between the two countries in various fields.
