Baku rejects reports on NATO aircrafts using Azerbaijan’s airfields
Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry announced that media reports on usage of Azerbaijani airfields, alongside with the airfields of other states, in order to refuel the NATO aircrafts allegedly bombing separatists in Ukraine is a baseless.
The ministry reports that such reports are of provocation character.
Local media disseminated such information referring to foreign ones.
Kiev authorities launched a military operation in Eastern Ukraine's Donbass, the citizens of which stand against the February coup in the country. More than 1100 civilians have been killed, more than 3400 have been wounded from mid-April to July 26, according to UN. Moscow called the special operation a punitive one and urged Kiev to stop immediately.
