Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Zakir Garalov has met his Albanian counterpart Adriatik Llalla, AzerTag state news agency reported.
Garalov highlighted recent reforms carried out by President Ilham Aliyev to improve and modernize the country's justice and legal system, strengthen the legal base of the Prosecutor General's Office.
He also gave an insight into the activities of the Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General.
Llalla hailed as excellent the organization of the Baku-hosted "Fight against corruption: international standards and national experiences" international conference.
He noted the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of discussing prospects for future cooperation.
Llalla said the Albanian Prosecutor General's Office attached great importance to expanding relations with the Azerbaijani prosecution authorities.
