Electronic Court Information System to appear in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on February 13 on creation of Electronic Court Information System, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The move is aimed at ensuring transparency in justice system, increasing the effectiveness of the protection of human rights and freedoms, and speeding up the application of advanced technologies.
President Aliyev entrusted the Justice Ministry and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President to deal with the tasks arising from the Order.
The Cabinet of Ministers shall, under the Order, draw up - in three months - its proposals related to amendments to be made to the legislation with the aim of ensuring the activities of Electronic Court Information System.
