Azerbaijan participated in Croatia's annual Christmas Bazaar charity fair, organized by the Zagreb's International Women's Club, on December 8.

The event was held under the patronage of Croatian First Lady Tatjana Josipovic.

Along with Azerbaijan's Embassy in Croatia, the event brought together diplomatic representatives from more than 30 countries, including Russia, USA, China, France, UK, and Germany accredited in Croatia, as well as Zagreb's executive power and Croatian community.

Souvenirs and items showcasing Azerbaijan's arts and traditions, as well as information about the first European Olympic Games to be held in Baku in 2015, were presented to visitors.

Books, magazines, cards, and other publications about Azerbaijan's tourist attractions, culture, and arts were also on display.

Croatian First Lady Tatjana Josipovic paid a visit to Azerbaijan's stand and referred to her visit to the country as a very pleasant experience.

The purpose of the annual charity fair is to contribute to a charity fund established to assist children, as well as to present member countries' culture, art, cuisine, customs and traditions.
