Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia to boost coop
Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Baku Musaid Bin Ibrahim Al Sulaimi.
At the meeting, the minister wished good luck to the newly appointed ambassador and expressed hope that during his diplomatic activities, bilateral relations between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan and the relevant agencies of Saudi Arabia will successfully develop.
During the meeting, the Minister thoroughly informed the ambassador about the projects undertaken by the ministry and its agencies.
The initial discussions on the preparation of an agreement between the ministry and the relevant agencies of Saudi Arabia in the field of disaster prevention and elimination of their consequences were also held at the meeting.
Musaid Bin Ibrahim Al Sulaimi, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and expressed his confidence in deepening cooperation between the relevant agencies of the two countries.
The issues of interest for both sides were also discussed at the meeting.
