BizNews Asia magazine names President Aliyev "Man of the Year"

The Philippines' largest weekly business and news magazine, BizNews Asia, has declared Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev "Man of the Year".
The magazine, which is dedicated to developed countries, heads of state and successful reforms on the Asian continent, published a detailed article titled "Man of the Year" and dedicated to President Aliyev and the policy pursued under his leadership, the website of the ruling party Yeni (New) Azerbaijan said on August 29.
The article, authored by Nepal's former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, describes the modern period of Azerbaijan's development and the progress made since 2003, when President Ilham Aliyev first came to power.
Another article of the magazine, titled "Aliyev's era: Azerbaijan's golden period", detailed the reforms carried out under President Aliyev's leadership, diversification of the economy, the social policy, the oil strategy and GDP per capita, regulation of fiscal revenues and their proper use in Azerbaijan.
The article emphasizes that under President Aliyev Azerbaijan has taken a worthy place in the world.
Last summer the magazine also had an extensive coverage of Azerbaijan. A number of articles on economic development as well as the political figures of Azerbaijan were published in the magazine.
