Minister blames int`l groups for covering up arsons
Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn
Baghirov has said international groups take a biased position on
the arsons being committed by Armenians in the occupied territories
of Azerbaijan.
"For the most part, they adhere to Armenian interests in treating the matter," he told reporters.
Baghirov condemned the proposal of the OSCE and the United Nations to allot funds to Armenia to fight the fire in the occupied land.
"Such a stance of international organizations is unperceivable. This way, Armenians both inflict damage to Azerbaijan`s environment and receive financial aid to eliminate the consequences."
Baghirov said international groups` covering up the arsons raised concerns.
"Some organizations` saying the fire flared up because of dry weather is unacceptable, as the arsons aim to hide the traces of crimes perpetrated in the occupied territories," he said.
