Azerbaijani President receives Afghan interior minister
President of Azerbaijan received on July 7 Afghanistan`s Internal Affairs Minister Ghulam Mujtaba Patang, AzerTac state news agency reported.
Patang conveyed President Hamid Karzai`s greetings to the
Azerbaijani President.
The Head of State and the afghan minister praised
Azerbaijan-Afghanistan relations, saying the two countries also
enjoyed good cooperation on different fronts.
They pointed out there were ample opportunities for developing the bilateral cooperation between internal affairs bodies.
They expressed confidence that the Afghan Minister`s visit would
allow the two countries discuss the issue of expansion of
cooperation between their internal affairs authorities.
President Aliyev asked Patang to convey his greetings to President
Hamid Karzai.
