Azerbaijan mulled social security issues in Switzerland
An Azerbaijani delegation led by Chairman of State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslumov has participated in the 107th bureau meeting of International Social Security Association in Geneva, Switzerland, Azertag state news agency reported.
The International Social Security Association (ISSA) is an international organization bringing together national social security administrations and agencies. Founded in 1927, the ISSA has around 340 member organizations in 150 countries. It has its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, in the International Labour Office (ILO).
The constitutional mandate of the ISSA is to co-operate, at the international level, in the promotion and development of social security throughout the world in order to advance the social and economic conditions of the population on the basis of social justice.
