Azerbaijan - Lithuania ties mulled
Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Lithuanian Ambassador to the country Arturas Zhurauskas on July 2, Azertag state news agency reported.
Mammadyarov congratulated Zhurauskas on Lithuania`s assuming the presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Mammadyarov noted the importance of enhancing the Azerbaijan-EU cooperation.
The sides hailed the relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
The ambassador said Eastern Partnership program, youth affairs, information and communication technologies and energy will be among key priority areas during Lithuania`s chairmanship of the Council of the European Union.
