President Aliyev receives Afghan FM
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on May 30 an
Afghan delegation led by Foreign Minister Zalmai Rassoul, AzerTac
state news agency reported.
Rassoul conveyed President Hamid Karzai`s greetings to the
Azerbaijani leader.
They praised the Azerbaijan-Afghanistan relations, saying they were
developing in a variety of areas.
They emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan`s participation in Afghanistan-related international projects. They expressed confidence that the two countries would continue cooperation in educational, healthcare and other fields.
President Aliyev asked the Afghan foreign minister to pass on his greetings to President Karzai.
