Azerbaijan, U.S. discuss co-op in defense and transportation fields
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received a delegation led by the Commander of U.S. Transportation Command William Fraser, the Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation in various areas, including in the military and transportation. They discussed ways to further develop relations and exchanged views on opportunities to use regional transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan, as well as the NATO troops withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2014.
