Azerbaijani, Turkish local bodies to cooperate
The municipalities of Azerbaijan`s Mingachevir and Turkey`s Kars cities have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
The MoU was inked by head of Mingachevir municipality Javanshir Yusubov and chairman of Kars municipality Nevzat Bozkus in Mingachevir.
At the signing ceremony, both Yusubov and Bozkus praised the Azerbaijan-Turkey relations, and expressed confidence the MoU would contribute to expanding the bilateral relations.
The trip saw the head of Kars municipality lay flowers at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev, and visit the Heydar Aliyev Centre, Alley of Martyrs, the Flag Square and the Museum of History.
