Ceramic Slab Production Plant inaugurated in Hajigabul District
Within the visit to Hajigabul District on April 15, President Ilham Aliyev participated at the inauguration of the Ceramic Slab Plant at the Gilan Ceramics Park here, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The President was informed that the Plant is an only of its kind enterprise in the South Caucasus and Northern Caucasus, as well as in Central Asia. Construction of the 27-hectare area plant started in 2009. The installation work was carried by Sajmi Company of Italy. The devices allow producing high level standard products. The Plant's products will also be exported in the near future.
Two dining rooms will serve the staff of the plant, which includes a modern 80-seat inn and administrative department, a conference hall, a 2-storey exhibition hall, warehouses, sports ground and other necessary facilities.
The Plant with total area of 19,700 square meters will produce competitive products both for domestic needs and export.
The President set the enterprise in motion.
The head of state was informed that over 40 million manat was
invested in construction of the Plant, the raw materials of which
will also be brought from Turkey and Ukraine.
The enterprise employs over 500 people.
The Azerbaijani President was informed that another facility - new ceramic-magnetic plant will be built in the area.
The head of state praised the work done here and gave certain instructions.
