President Aliyev receives President of International Military Sports Council
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on Wednesday President of the International Military Sports Council, head of the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee Hamad Kalkaba Malboum, AzerTac state news agency reported.
Hamad Kalkaba Malboum said he was deeply impressed by rapid development processes taking place in Azerbaijan under President Ilham Aliyev.
He stressed the importance of the International Military Sports Council championship in Baku, which will bring together 16 national military teams and nearly 100 delegates.
Hamad Kalkaba Malboum told the Head of State that the International Military Sports Council proposed to organize the next summer military games in Azerbaijan in 2019.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope the International Military Sports Council championship in Baku would be organized on high level.
The Head of State said successive measures had been taken to build modern sports infrastructure for hosting high-profile international tournaments.
During the meeting, they discussed issues related to expansion of cooperation between the International Military Sports Council and Azerbaijan`s relevant authorities.
