Film about Azerbaijani national leader to be screened in Tbilisi
The Georgian capital Tbilisi will host an evening of friendship, music and poetry dedicated to the memory of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, and will be held at the initiative of the David Gamrekeli Charitable Foundation, Trend news agency reported.
The event, sponsored by the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR, will begin with the screening of the documentary "Covenant of friendship", which is dedicated to Heydar Aliyev.
Classical works of Georgian, Azerbaijani and Italian composers will also be performed at the event.
Representatives of the Georgian government, diplomatic corps and public figures are invited to the event.
