Azerbaijan to participate in Afghanistan development program
NATO is preparing a program for the development and
reconstruction of Afghanistan after 2014, according to the NATO
headquarters in Brussels.
According to the head of the Azerbaijani mission to NATO Khazar
Ibrahim, Azerbaijan will make suggestions to NATO on participation
in the program and contribution that the country could render to
improvements in Afghanistan, Trend news agency reported.
Azerbaijan currently assists Afghanistan in a number of areas,
including training in mine clearance, training of diplomats and
assistance in other areas.
