Reports on Australian state's recognition of Azeri rebel region dismissed
The reports released by Armenian media about alleged recognition of separatist "Nagorno Karabakh Republic" by the Australian state of New South Wales are not true, Azerbaijani MP Azay Guliyev told Trend news agency.
This document is not associated with the recognition of the separatist "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
Guliyev said that there is no assurance that any state of
Australia has information about the events taking place in
Azerbaijan and the region..
He noted that the Armenians, using the lack of information, are
working in the most remote parts of the world and try to deceive
representatives of central and local government, as well as
individual leaders.
Guliyev said the Armenians by giving false and baseless facts
are trying to convince them that the alleged Nagorno-Karabakh is an
independent state, and they should support the right to
self-determination of people living there.
As for the legal side of the issue, it has no foundation and is
illegal approach, he added.
