Azerbaijan denies reports on launching flights with Northern Cyprus
Azerbaijan`s state airline AzAL spokesman Maharram Safarli has denied the information about possible launching the direct flights between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
"This information, disseminated in Cyprus's media, is wrong," Safarli told Trend news agency on Thursday.
According to the article published on Wednesday in the Kibris Postasi newspaper, private Turkish company plans to make direct flights from Lefkosa to Baku.
The governments of Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus have held negotiations on this issue and will soon sign an agreement to open flights, the article says.
