Over 40 corrupt officials caught red-handed
Since the establishment of the Office for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, 44 corrupt officials have been detained red-handed as a result of 43 operations, local media reported.
The statement came from Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov in an
interview with the state-run Azerbaijan newspaper.
According to him, the Office for Combating Corruption has outlined
new important tasks to fight corruption.
