Azeri president hosts Turkish economy minister
President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday received a Turkish delegation led by Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan.
President Aliyev said relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey were developing in all fields, particularly, in economics. The president underlined the importance of joint projects in energy, transport and other sectors.
Aliyev stressed the importance of Caglayan's visit to Azerbaijan in terms of analyzing the progress made in this regard and developing new projects.
Caglayan, in turn, delivered greetings from President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to President Aliyev.
He also noted the importance of recommendations of the heads of state and government in strengthening bilateral relations.
President Aliyev asked the Turkish minister to convey his greetings to President Gul and Prime Minister Erdogan.
