Musavat postpones its congress
The congress of major Azerbaijani opposition party Musavat, previously scheduled for March 3-4, has been indefinitely postponed, its governing body decided at a meeting on Monday.
The party claimed the decision was due to the failure of the executive authorities of Baku to approve a venue for the congress.
Musavat has set up a working group to find a new venue.
The agenda of the congress includes electing a new chairman of the party.
