Azeri president meets new Chinese ambassador
Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev Monday accepted credentials of
newly-appointed ambassador of China Hong Jiuyin.
President Aliyev underlined the Azerbaijani-Chinese relations were based on friendship and partnership principles.
The Azerbaijani leader praised intergovernmental relations.
Aliyev said the two countries have big opportunities to expand cooperation in the fields of economy and investment even more.
Aliyev expressed hope that as friendly and partner countries Azerbaijan and China would continue to cooperate in regional issues as well as in strengthening peace and security in the world.
Hong Jiuyin said he had eye-witnessed big development in Azerbaijan since his last visit to the country three years ago.
The ambassador said China hailed Azerbaijan`s achievements in establishing stability within the society and ensuring rapid economic development under the leadership of President Aliyev.
