Albanian PM to discuss coop in Baku
Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha will visit Azerbaijan on Feb.8-10, a diplomatic source told Trend news agency on Monday.
During the visit, Berisha is expected to discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijani officials.
Trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $23,000 in January-October 2011.
Albanian companies are interested in cooperation with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Albanian Foreign Minister Edmond Haxhinasto said it during his visit to Baku last year.
During the meeting with SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, Haxhinasto emphasized great potential for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Albania in oil and gas field.
