Aliyev meets Latvia`s economy minister
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met Latvia`s Economy Minister Daniels Pavluts on Monday.
Pavluts expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan as a first representative of the Latvian government. He said Latvia`s new government was interested in further development of cooperation with Azerbaijan. Pavluts noted relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia were at a very good level. He underlined the importance of high-level reciprocal visits in expansion of cooperation.
President Aliyev said Azerbaijan was keen on further development of cooperation with Latvia. He noted successful reciprocal visits of presidents yielded good results. Aliyev pointed out Azerbaijan-Latvia relationship was developing dynamically in recent years. The Azerbaijani leader noted several investment projects in trade sphere were underway to stimulate cooperation between the two countries.
President Aliyev expressed hope that Azerbaijan would successfully cooperate with Latvia`s new government.
