230 employees of Azeri penitentiary service sacked
Over 230 employees of Azerbaijan’s Penitentiary Service have been dismissed in the first ten months of 2011, with about 30 percent of them losing jobs over shortfalls in their work, the Service chief has said.
Madat Guliyev, a deputy minister of justice, said the dismissed staff members include those implicated in bringing drugs into penitentiary institutions.
