Azeri interior minister invited to Pakistan
Azerbaijani Interior Minister Ramil Usubov has been invited to pay an official visit to Pakistan. The invitation was extended by his Pakistani counterpart Rehman Malik at a recent meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador Dashgin Shikarov, according to the Azerbaijani embassy in the country.
Issues of cooperation between the two countries’ interior bodies were discussed at the meeting.
Minister Malik stressed the importance of establishing closer ties between the interior ministries and invited Azerbaijani law enforcers to train at Pakistan’s police academy.
Shikarov, in turn, suggested that Pakistani interior bodies capitalize on Azerbaijan’s experience.
