Three traffic police officers sacked over graft
Three officers of Azerbaijan’s Traffic Patrol Service have been dismissed over corruption, the Interior Ministry said.
According to the ministry, the traffic police officers "failed to take action against traffic violators for their personal ends".
Another traffic police officer was deprived of his post over turning a blind eye to a fellow officer’s illegal actions.
Also, two platoon commanders were issued terse warnings due to failing to properly oversee the work of their inferiors.
