Armed attackers kill construction firm boss in Baku
BAKU – Armed assailants attacked the office of a construction company in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on Monday, killing its boss, law enforcement agencies said.
After breaking into the Azer-Ross company’s office, the unidentified attackers shot at the company’s head Aflatun Piriyev and chief accountant Amiraslan Ahmadov. Piriyev was rushed to a hospital but did not survive, while Ahmadov remains hospitalized with severe injuries.
Investigators have not yet established motives of the crime.
