Azerbaijan endorses Catholic Church’s activity
BAKU – The Azerbaijani parliament on Friday ratified the agreement signed with Vatican granting the legal status to the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan.
The agreement covers freedoms to worship the Catholic religion, recognizes and registers the Church and all of its institutions as legal entities, authorizes it to conduct missionary work, and envisions issuance of work visas to its employees.
