Azeri president meets Georgian defense chief
BAKU – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Monday met Georgian Defense Minister Bachana Akhalaia.
They said relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia were developing successfully in various fields, exchanged views on prospects for bilateral defense cooperation.
Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev also met with his Georgian counterpart. The sides discussed prospects for military cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on military and political situation in the region.
