Mud volcano erupts in Azeri region

BAKU – A mud volcano erupted in the Hajigabul region, 110 km away from the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, on Thursday morning, according to the Institute of Geology.

The eruption on top of the Harami mountain was accompanied by a blaze of 30 to 50 meters.

The volcano, which erupted with interruptions for about half an hour, could be seen 70 to 80 kilometers away.
