Azeri president raises scholars’ wages
BAKU – The monthly wages of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences employees have been increased 20 percent, according to a decree enacted by President Ilham Aliyev on Wednesday.
The pay raise, effective from May 1, will benefit citizens working for budget-funded scientific institutions operating under the academy.
