Youths to enjoy ‘preference’ in govt jobs - presidential aide
BAKU – A senior Azerbaijani official has said youths will enjoy preferential treatment in applying for government jobs.
Ali Hasanov, a Presidential Administration official, was commenting on Thursday’s meeting of President Ilham Aliyev with representatives of youth organizations.
"Vacancies in public service are limited. Nevertheless, preference will be given to youths in filling these vacancies," Hasanov told the press.
During the meeting with the youths, President Aliyev spoke about young people’s political and public activity, the challenges they face and the government’s policy on youths. He also briefed them on the state program on supporting youths for 2011-2015.
