Azerbaijan, UAE firm plan to co-produce combat vehicles
BAKU – The Azerbaijani government and an UAE company have agreed to jointly manufacture combat vehicles.
Under a letter of intent signed by the Ministry of Defense Industry and Al Asbar Auto Industries on the sidelines of the IDEX defense exhibition in Abu Dhabi, a special vehicle will be first delivered to Azerbaijan for testing. "If the tests are successful, joint production of combat vehicles supplied with weapons is planned in Azerbaijan," Minister Yaver Jamalov said.
