Parliament raises top rights defender’s wage
BAKU – The Azerbaijani Parliament raised the Azerbaijani Ombudsman's wage on Friday.
The Parliament's session discussed a draft on amending the constitutional law on the Human Rights Commissioner. The draft envisages increasing ombudsman's monthly salary from 1,320 to 1,800 manats ($2250).
