Iran bans Azeri online TV channel
BAKU – An Azerbaijani television channel broadcasting on the internet has been banned in Iran.
The website of Can Azerbaijan (CanAz) TV channel, www.canaz.tv, says that it is inaccesible from the neighboring country.
CanAz TV, established by Azerbaijanis living in Turkey, aims to promote awareness and recognition of Azerbaijani Turks’ culture. It began broadcasting on February 1.
